Commentaires pour la formation ALLURES GARCIA WEEK

Tres belle semaine de tour d'horizon des competences pour la navigation hauturière. Belle équipe EFT, chaleureuse, accueillant et compétente dans les domaines couverts.
Pour l'amelioration de cette semaine, 3 idées :
- maintenir la session médicale à l'agenda de la semaine
- avoir plus de bancs moteur pour une meilleure pratique sure ce sujet important
- Naviguer sur voilier Allures ou Garcia et voir sur ces voiliers les réseaux électriques, électroniques et moteur.

It was a perfect training- and education week, where the topics: Diesel- mechanics, safety at sea, boat electrics, boat electronics, sailing practice and meteo were covered. The theorie - parts and all the hands- on lessons were perfectly balanced. So we learned a lot. The setup was such that we also had a lot of fun.
Could not have been better

I think it was very well organized, good facilities in general but the meeting room with the diesel engines needs more light.
Excellent content, the instructors being very knowledgeable and very patient, even if Guillaume’s English is not great, he made himself understood (it’s also my fault for not practicing my French before…). Antoine excellent but I would suggest to add to the security module some thoughts on where to place jack lines for tethering in the various Allures and Garcia models that we own and other preventive MOB measures.
Very knowledgeable water maker brothers but they should not interrupt each other so much. However, their technical expertise is impressive and they raised some issues with our installations that we are all pursuing with the shipyard.
And the weather module, very good but I personally found it a little bit too basic. Of course Mr. Dumard has to adapt to the average level of the assistants, some of which had zero previous knowledge, so that is not his issue.
All in all, congratulations. This is something I would do again when you offer another one in English (or when my French improves, I am working on it).

Excellent course. Very informative with hands-on training on multiple subjects. Highly recommended for anyone who would like to learn more about safety-at-sea, diesel engines, electrical systems, watermakers, etc .... Well done EFT !! Thank you, Simon & Renee
